Understanding your Nervous System to Improve Stress Management, Communication, and Collaboration

This training will experientially teach participants to understand basic relational neuroscience that relates directly to individual, team, and organizational health, stress management, collaboration, and communication.

Just like our heart beats on its own without needing our mindful instruction, there are many other systems in the body that operate below the level of consciousness that greatly impact the way we process and respond to the world as we encounter it.

As we face ongoing levels of stress and burnout related to Covid and related challenges, our nervous systems are increasingly impacted, and our normal "coping skills" aren't working like they used to.

During this highly interactive training, you will:

  • Learn relational neuroscience basics that will help you understand why you feel like you feel - and how you can use this knowledge to support yourself
  • Learn concrete tools that go beyond the normally recommended coping skills that you can use to support your nervous system right now
  • Learn strategies to navigate the unknowns we're facing right now
  • Learn tools for combatting burnout and overwhelm
  • Experience moments of fun, connection, and joy
  • Build resources and skills that support connection and community during this stressful time.
