How to manage social anxiety and get yourself and your colleagues ready to start sharing a social spaces again!

As more and more of us are getting vaccinated, we are increasingly returning to in-person activities. After more than a year of restrictions and limited human contact, we may expect to be feeling excited at this prospect. However, many of us may be surprised to find ourselves experiencing significant trepidation and social anxiety.

In this practical and information-packed talk, Dr. Goldwater-Adler will discuss why these feelings are arising and provide concrete strategies for managing social anxiety in the workplace and in our social lives.

This talk will be focus on:

  • Post-pandemic workplace and personal social anxiety and why we have it
  • What managers & leaders can do to create a safe environment
  • What individuals can do to manage their stress and anxiety in social situations
